TEAMWORK AND FRIENDSHIP FOR KIDS!

NEW RELEASE OF CHILDREN'S BOOK

RESCUE AT WISEMAN'S POND BY PATTY WISEMAN

I am so happy to announce the release of my new children's book Rescue at Wiseman's Pond! It's been a long time coming, but it is finally here in paperback form and available for purchase.

This is a story based on actual events that happened on our property in East Texas during the 2016 spring floods. We have a large pond near our house and it rose over our banks disturbing the home of our resident fox and family. We learned how to build a temporary fox den!

As the events unfolded, my husband casually remarked it would make a great children's story. A year and a half later...voila, here it is.

This has been a brand new experience, because as most of you know, I have never written a children's book before. Let me tell you, it is a whole different thing! The first thing that put me off of doing it was the price of an illustrator. However, I was blessed to find Syrena Seale and the results are beautiful.

The next thing was a publisher who would take on the project. After many setbacks, I finally found the right fit! Susan Reeder at info@bookliftoff.com.

What I found through this process is despite the hardships, disappointments, and setbacks, I didn't let go of the dream. Through perseverance and determination my dream came to fruition.

If you want a story that shows children the value of teamwork and friendship, I hope you will purchase this little book. I pray the children will love the vivid illustrations and the story.

The book will be available for epub soon and I will make another announcement when that takes place. Meanwhile here is the link where you can purchase the paperback copy.

My goal is to be not just an author of books, but a true writer. I love to spin a story the reader cannot put down, a page turner. It always thrills me to see the wonderful reviews of my work, or to hear people say they could not put the book down. That is what satisfies me as a writer.
