Born in Tacoma, Washington 59 years ago, second oldest of four.
A love of reading fostered the desire to put stories down on paper and was a mainstay in a lonely and frustrating childhood. The stories and books carried me away from the sadness and lonliness where I thrived in the world of make believe.
College beckoned me after graduation and I fled to Bartlesville, Okla. to attend Bartlesville Wesleyan College. I met my first husband there and had two wonderful sons.
A job had the family migrating to Texas and alas the demise of that marriage. But I stayed there to raise my boys and ten years later I met and married my current husband. What a difference a little maturity and responsibility can make! We've been married for 16 years and he is the love of my life.
I have worked for a financial advisor for 21 years and am now looking forward to retirement. My dearest dream is to be at home writing all the stories in my head!
I have eleven grandchildren the oldest of whom is sixteen years old and driving! Oh My! Three of the oldest grandchildren play baseball and we are at the ball field 9 months out of the year. A real blessing as I am a sports nut!
I have been co-authoring a book with my friend of 30 plus years and we are on the brink of completion. It's been a real friendship tester, but I am happy to say we survived stronger than before!
I am a 2007 NaNo winner and that is the story I am working on now.
I have many interests, dancing, bowling etc. I love to keep busy, but writing is my first priority.
